Subscriptions (Recurring Donations)

Thank you for your generous donations of any amount! Your contributions enable us to fund all the necessary activities to run a well coordinated, effective, and successful campaign.

A Subscription is simply a recurring donation of your choice (commonly a smaller donation charged over a period of months). This is often easier for people who find larger one-time donations difficult. It spreads your donation out over time and helps us tremendously with cash flow for the campaign expenses. No amount is too small. It all counts.

When you use the Subscription button, you will be directed to a secure platform, hosted by PayPal, where you can make your contribution. You do not have to be a PayPal member and may use any of the credit cards in the logo shown below.

The maximum contribution is 500$ per individual, 1000$ per couple in one calendar year. Election Law requires us to collect certain information from donors. In order to comply with these regulations, please include your first and last name, employer and occupation in the text boxes below and then click the Subscribe button to make your recurring contribution.

After clicking the "Subscribe" button, you will be directed to a webpage to indicate your monthly contribution amount and then either click the credit card link to pay by your credit card OR sign-in to your PayPal account (if applicable). The final web page will show your receipt, which you can print. You will also receive an email confirmation of the transaction.

OCPF rules on political campaign donations are summarized in the following points (which also cover checks sent to the campaign).

  • Corporate checks are prohibited!
  • Small business checks are generally not allowed, unless the check is specifically an unincorporated sole proprietorship.
  • Money orders and bank checks totalling greater than 50$ per year are prohibited.
  • Donations by a voter and spouse should be mailed on separate checks, unless both names are printed on the check form and BOTH persons sign the check. You can include multiple checks in one mailing envelope, for easiest Election Law compliance.
